Back to start, rebels attack the poor people ,kill them , separate man who can work in the diamond mines. During such attack, Solomon got caught with rebels but he makes his family flee from there . His family is his wife,daughter & boy. He want to make his boy a good doctor some day. After separation from seperation, one day , the rebels catch Solomon’s son & take him for their rebel army.
Back upto Jail, Archer bails out Solomon & try to convince him for find the diamond , in reward , Archer make him meet his family. During this , Archer meets Maddy Bowen ,a journalist who want to write about this whole “blood diamond”thing . And the story follows, better you watch it yourself .
It’s movie for must watch,atleast from my view. The cinematography is excellent so is direction to story telling. Movie shows us how bloody the journey of this peace from mother earth & we humans want it at any cost. Just sack for money ,we can kill people , create situation of war, supply weapons & all shit. Movie showed the way , terror groups brain wash the children & result of such is like hell, geeez what the hell !!!!!!!!!
Movie is starring Leonardo DiCaprio(Archer),Jennifer Connelly(Maddy),Djimon Hounsou(Solomon). Plus there is Jimmy Mistry(Nabil) & Gaurav Chopra (as french journalist, both having some 2-3 scenes.
I hope it’s strong contender for this year’s Oscar nominations.
