When I saw 2 days ago news channels flashing news about abduction of boy aged 16 from mumbai , I thought it’s again some close relation person did for sure .
Now , just news came in that boy is found dead in Navi Mumbai .and the whole case story is revealed with details coming in that Adnan met 3 guys in some Pool club 6 months ago. By these regular meet they came to know all about Adnan & they planned to trap him. They created fake id of “Angel”(girl) & posed to Adnan in Orkut community & lured him. They arranged all things & told Adnan via “Angel” that come near some mall if you want to meet me in person . Adnan went & they abducted him . They rang to his parents & demanded ransom (1st call) parents thought it might be prank , but after 2nd call they realise wht situation is .Parents registered complain in Oshiwara police station , police went in action but news got leaked to news channels & all National news started that story of kidnapping. They panicked & killed Adnan. Though police manged to catch all of 3 but boy lost his life .

Such a dreadful incident and still people select Orkut as Youth Icon. I feel it has damaged the youth to a great extend.
Damm !!! these kind of incident are pretty sad. but here i wont blame orkut completely, its the indian media which are just crazy to break the news and at times just dont c the outcome. THey make situation worst. the thing which happened through orkut could have happened through any social networking site or even through yahoo ….. But media need to learn a lot with this….hope the guys soul rest in peace and these kind of incident dont occur again.
yeah , media goes crazy like in any such cases, they splashed news like hell and panicked guys killed Adnan .Point is not to blame Orkut but they used as advantage in their crime.
Its was indeed a very sad incident. At times I wonder, why do the police need to inform media abt their strategies or updates? Cos its cos of them that the latest update n action is known to the entire world, including the criminals.
