There is one impressive feature about it’s LCD Screen which is 3-inch tilting with scratch-resistant, UV hard-coat finish. Generally we get to see 2 /2.5 inch LCD but this one is little more , but that means it will consume more battery also .

Other noticeable feature are Noise reduction is now a user-selectable option, with high, low and standard settings,D-Range Optimizer & HD component output for viewing photos on a compatible HDTV set.

It’s scheduled for May-2008 from SonyStyle with cost range starting at 400 $ , adding accessories with cost more like HD cable etc.

Damn you, Rahul. Just when I’m trying to ward off my temptation to buy a digicam! :(

Is it DSLR? It’s just the H series. It’s semi pro. Not point n shoot nor SLR type.

  2. Rahul says:

yes whenever I try to convince to particular model ,there comes another .

yes DSLR , we can say it’s enhanced version of DSC-H9 .

  3. ashwin says:

That’s exactly my point. H series of Sony Digicams are NOT DSLR. They are point and shoot, or rather you can call them “Semi Pro”.

For $400, they seem to be a good buy…
