After a little break from new releases , finally Sony announced about new DSLR with DSC-H50 . It’s 9.0 megapixel Cyber-Shot & with powerful Carl ZeissĀ® 15x optical zoom lens.

There is one impressive feature about it’s LCD Screen which is 3-inch tilting with scratch-resistant, UV hard-coat finish. Generally we get to see 2 /2.5 inch LCD but this one is little more , but that means it will consume more battery also .

It’s scheduled for May-2008 from SonyStyle with cost range starting at 400 $ , adding accessories with cost more like HD cable etc.

Damn you, Rahul. Just when I’m trying to ward off my temptation to buy a digicam!
Is it DSLR? It’s just the H series. It’s semi pro. Not point n shoot nor SLR type.
yes whenever I try to convince to particular model ,there comes another .
yes DSLR , we can say it’s enhanced version of DSC-H9 .
That’s exactly my point. H series of Sony Digicams are NOT DSLR. They are point and shoot, or rather you can call them “Semi Pro”.
For $400, they seem to be a good buy…
So you are back to blogging?
Well $400 seems like a good bet for this model.
yeh back to blogging
let’s hope before May comes there is no other entrant with price tag around 400 $ .
This is NOT a DSLR … just a high-end digicam …

you are right but ,I mentioned it due to Sony’s press release reports , it’s not my input
